Matthew Stovall - President

Matthew Stovall has designed, developed, and built commercial and residential projects in the Houston area and throughout the country for over 26 Years. His goal is to build thoughtful sustainable and enduring projects that inspire people and embrace the way they live and where they work.

Throughout his career, he has devoted his time to constructing, designing and developing projects within the inner cities and suburbs. He is widely known as one of the individuals who was instrumental in the revitalization of Houston’s Midtown submarket. His designs can be seen throughout the district including buildings at 2600 Travis, Gloria’s Restaurant, and 2101 Smith St. He also developed the very popular Mix @ Midtown district that contains the award-winning High Fashion Home, 24hr Fitness, and Artisan’s Restaurant. His understanding of urban design, architecture, interiors, and material selection is evident in all of this work. Prior to becoming a builder, Matthew also worked Gensler for over 12 years overseeing the company’s most complex projects while managing a studio.

He has extensive experience negotiating lease transactions for many local and national tenants for landlords. His combined experience in residential and commercial projects, developing and building mixed-use retail, and designing architectural and interior commercial and residential projects encompasses over 7 million square feet of construction spanning four decades.

Matthew has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston, College of Architecture. He has served on several advisory boards for the City of Houston and the Urban Land Institute, and has been interviewed on TV and published in newspapers as an authority on urban design.
